Build with National Dex Pokemon

Pokemon Team Builder

Start with a Pokemon you want to use, fill the roles around it, then inspect the weaknesses and offensive coverage of the whole six. PokeSynergy keeps teams in your browser without requiring an account, and lets you export a text paste when the draft is ready.

Choose the mode that matches your goal. Pokemon Champions has measured ranked data for its supported formats. National Dex is a broad move-building sandbox with curated suggestions and separate rules; it is not a standard competitive ladder simulator.

Pokemon Champions M-C DoublesA team for the current supported Champions regulation, with measured M-6 ranked choices where available.Only the eligible Champions roster and moves are selectable. Missing measured rows use labelled curated suggestions.
National Dex sandbox (Singles)Exploring the full supported National Dex species and form roster, including Pokémon banned from the reference ladder.Uses Champions SP for calculations and saved teams. Recommendations are editorial; Standard EV export is an approximate text conversion. Ladder legality and full battle simulation are not promised.

A six-Pokemon weakness check

Suppose a draft contains Charizard, Gyarados, Corviknight, Garchomp, Ferrothorn and Clefable. Charizard, Gyarados and Corviknight are all weak to Electric attacks, with Gyarados taking four-times type damage. Garchomp is immune to Electric and Ferrothorn resists it, so the team has possible switch-ins, but the three exposed slots still need a deliberate plan.

In the builder, add the six in National Dex, check their combined defensive type view, then inspect offensive coverage and moves. If the Electric matchup is hard to navigate, test a different partner or change a role before exporting. Type matchups are a starting point: abilities, items, moves and speed can change the real battle.

Build, save and share

  1. Choose Champions or the National Dex sandbox before adding a Pokémon.
  2. Add a core, then compare repeated weaknesses and offensive coverage.
  3. Choose moves for a coherent role and review the complete legal move list when using National Dex.
  4. Save the draft locally and export its text. National Dex exports default to Champions SP; the optional Standard EV text is approximate.

You can build without signing in. A local draft stays on this device unless you choose to use account features or share it.
